The only way to prepare for CrossFit is by doing CrossFit. It is not necessary for you to be in shape to start doing CrossFit. CrossFit is for everyone of all ages and ability levels. At CrossFit Oneonta, we strive to give every athlete the tools they need to live a healthy, active life by providing excellent strength and conditioning with expert nutritional advice.
What is on ramp?
Our On ramp consists of three classes designed to teach you Crossfit principles and fundamentals. During these three classes you will be guided through the warm-up, Crossfit's foundational movements, and a scaled down workout. All members must complete all three classes of the on-ramp before joining group classes. Since it is important to correctly learn the foundational Crossfit movements, all on ramp courses will be 1 on 1 with a certified trainer. On ramp classes are by appointment only.
